OPPOSITION, JOHN MAHAMA WINS ELECTION IN GHANA

Ghana’s former president Mahama wins election after ruling party concedes defeat. You can read it again. You are not reading about a European country. No, it happened in our backyard. We are not talking about what happened hundreds of years ago. We are talking about what happened today. The election was not organised by a foreign body but by an independent electoral body in Ghana. Do you now understand why Ghana’s economy remains one of the most stable in Africa? Do you now understand why you will find a lot of Europeans moving to Ghana for holidays? That thing that makes it difficult or even impossible for a ruling party to lose an eléction in Nìgeria is also the root cause of pøverty, insècurity, joblessness, and high mortality rates. If we use the same energy we devote to fighting spirits we have not seen to demanding the reign of justice, equity, and transparency in Nigeria, we shall have no more demons to blame for our general setback. Congratulations, Ghana. Without you and a few other countries, it would have appeared as if the Blªck man is cùrsed.
