Here is the pope addressing the members of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences in Vatican.
Do you know that the man who discovered the BIG BANG theory, Monsignor Georges Lemaitre, a Belgian Catholic priest, was elected a member of this academy by the Vatican In 1936? From 1960 till his death he was the chairman of the academy.
Do you know the volume of researches this academy has conducted and still conducts as you read this?
Do you you how much the academy has influenced the teachings of the Church? Many do not know and do not want to know.
Even if they know it does not bother them as long as the researches and their corresponding teachings are not done by Africans or people that look like them.
