TEAMWORK

Whenever oyibo encounter any problem, they gather together to solve it. But when postcolonial Africans have problems, they disperse to solve the problems individually.

The real devil or curse holding Afrīcans down is that voice that tells them that their problems are better solved individually.

Funnily enough, they have a thousand and one reasons why teamwork does not work. They will tell you how many times they have been betrayed or defrauded by a collaborator or a business partner.

Meanwhile, the same person still uses the road to travel despite the number of road accidents he has witnessed.

The fact is: nothing can replace teamwork. If we have lost it, we must look for it. If we have forgotten it, we must relearn it.

If we have destroyed it, we must rebuild it, or else we continue to go down. Teamwork is indispensable in any successful human project.
