VANITY?

A German woman worked all her life. She did not marry and had no child. To save a lot of money, she denied herself so many luxuries.
She was very religious and hardly missed mass any Sunday. Even till the age of 90, she hardly missed any church Sunday service.
Before she died, she willed everything she saved to help assist single mothers going through difficulties.
For an average African, this woman did not live a fulfilled life. For an average African, the woman should have used her wealth to get herself a husband and a child.
For an average African, for one to will his or her money to those he or she does not know or for research that one will not live to see its results is a waste of resources.
Lastly, the woman donated the money anonymously and pleaded that her name should not be mentioned. As she was dying, she was very fulfilled.
Her life, work, and donation were not vanity. The life of vanity is when you lived and left without making any contribution to the sustainability or development of the society you met.
If any dèad person had a child who will also have children, trained his or her child in character, or contributed to the development of justice, peace, and progress of his or her society, he or she did not live in vain or a life of vanity.
