“WHERE DO YOU STAND?” THEY ASK ME ALWAYS

When Mathias Ezeaku burnt the Bible, I condemned the act, but when he was arrested and detained, I condemned the act too.
When Okeite started to reign, I condemned it with too many posts, but when Okeite Dibias/vendors were arrested and are still being detained to date, I have never been silent on the manner the affair is being handled by the Charles Chukwuma Soludo administration.
When Fr. Mbaka made the prediction about the Imo State 2020 supreme court judgment, I condemned his utterances but when the APC government wanted to persecute him I was on his side.
Do you now understand why I am being asked from time to time, “Where do you stand?” This is the difference between those who ask this question and myself.
I have no stand. I stand with wherever I find the truth. I stand with the oppressed. I stand against injustice.
As I do that, I do not condemn the unjust or oppressor but his or her actions. You will be surprised to see me defending Charles Chukwuma Soludo tomorrow when I see him being oppressed.
When that happens, of course, many will say that I have been bought or that I don’t have a stand.
If I see a Christian and an ọdịnala person having a misunderstanding, who should I stand with since both are my brothers? I will stand with the truth or the oppressed.
If the oppressor changes sincerely, it is a gain for me. I will embrace him or her too. We need each other.
